We offer Pilates apparatus and matwork instruction to individuals, duets, and small groups (3 or more). Our certified Pilates instructors can design a program to meet your specific fitness needs.
Originally called Contrology (mind controls the muscles), what we now call The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning was developed by Joseph Pilates nearly a century ago and incorporates specially designed apparatus and matwork for a full-body workout.
This method focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine.
In particular, these 500+ exercises strengthen the powerhouse muscles – the abdominals, the lower back and the gluteals – as well as improve flexibility, posture, balance, alignment, breathing and control.
No membership or initiation fees.
